Hello all again, Ive been playin around with my setup (3 vps, 2 as servers 1 as just ns) and have configured one of my servers as a slave server as defined by this guide: http://www.howtoforge.com/installin...tabase-cluster-on-debian-6.0-with-ispconfig-3 my current setup is as follows: ns1.mydomain.co.uk <-- Hosts sites,email,mysql etc and runs ISPCONFIG3. based in uk with public ip ns2.mydomain.co.uk <-- Runs the bind nameserver. Based in uk with different public ip ^^^both above with same company server3.mydomain.co.uk <-- Setup as slave. Based in america with another public ip After setting up as slave i waited for any files to be copied with unison,dns prognation etc, i switched my main server off hoping it would switch but it just failed with mydomain not found!? is it even possible with different ip addresses(not on same subnets? 79.xx.xx.xx, 95.xx.xx.xx, 193.xx.xx.xx)
