I can access all my mail on my desktop using Thunderbird. But we have a Nextcloud server in the DC, same rack as our ISPConfig server. It refuses to connect. Tells me username/password error. I looked at the failtoban logs and I see that the server's IP keeps coming up. Everyone in my organization uses NC as their mail client. So I need to Whitelist the IP so failtoban doesn't block it when someone puts in the wrong password. I have combed through all the settings etc I can do on ISPConfig3.2 but can't find where I can whitelist IPs? Am I missing something or is this one of those things I must do from CLI?
You must do that in fail2ban config file: https://www.howtoforge.com/how-to-whitelist-an-ip-in-fail2ban-on-debian-wheezy
