I have noted fas-tcgi has been removed from bookworm. I am wanting to install nextcloud in ISPc and I seem to be having issues whilst attempting to use php-fpm as fast-cgi is no longer available. Comments, workarounds would be most helpful. Regards Fred
That's not related to Bookworm at all. Fastcgi is still available in Bookworm, but it makes no sense to use that outdated mode anymore. FasCGI is an old PHP mode and predecessor of php-fpm and it is hidden for quite a while as you should not use it anymore today. But you can still activate it again under System > Interface > main config. Nextcloud, like any other PHP application, works fine and even better with php-fpm. So, instead of talking about FastCGI, it would have been more helpful if you had said what issue you have.
