I am trying to upgrade to FC 11 from FC 10. I have tried using both preupgrade and DVD options but failed at the same point. Issued a "yum -y update" command Started Preupgrade. Preupgrade checks and downloads all the necessary items successfully but after the restart, i've got no display. I left it run thinking it will come up after a few minutes. After more than an hour with no display, i forced restart the machine and went back to FC10. no update was done? With the DVD option, i immediately get no display after hitting the enter key on the upgrade option on the installer. Is this a graphic card problem? if so, how do i deal with it? can't the installer load a generic graphic card driver? didn't have this problem with older versions before... please, help...
