hello all i have a problem in the howto it says to do this mysqladmin -u root password yourrootsqlpassword mysqladmin -h server1.example.com -u root password yourrootsqlpassword i am very new to linux the problem is i dont know what to put in server1.example.com i put localhost.localdomain and it tells me Access denied for user root@localhost (using password:NO) is localhost.localdomain wrong? please help
You must use the hostname that you set during the initial installation of FC5, as shown here: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_fedora_core_5_p2
