    Greetings,

I have a FC5-ISPconfig installation that has been performing well for several months, until recently.....So i ventured into /var/logs chasing some sort of system log, and have been unable to locate it.

I installed the system, but am no means an administrator of one. So I seek some assistance with the following problem.

System locks up, wont accept any input, and requires a forced shutdown. Upon restart, system is fine until the next lockup. This can occur anywhere from during boot, to 2 days later, or anywhere in between. It appears to require a reboot more frequently. Where would various system logs be located if not in /var/log/ please?

Okays, I found syslog.conf, but am unsure what needs to be modified, to start error log file generation.

I would have thought that this would be an automated logging feature....am in the completely wrong area for this?
