I have a fedora 12 ispconfig3 server. The computer hardware clock is set to local time and fedora is set to local time. A non-jailkit user sees local time from the cli, but jailkit users see only UTC time.

I've tried copying /etc/adjtime to the websites jailkit /etc but still see only UTC from the command line.

Is there some setting I need to change somewher? Thanks,

    solution

    Hello,
found an easy solution for this on Debian squeeze
first set correct time with dpkg-reconfigure tzdata
then simply cp /etc/localtime to jailed user's /etc as root

    cp /etc/localtime /var/www/clients/client1/yourdomain/etc/localtime

    after execute date
    worked for me fine!!
    thanks
