In regards to the article about setting-up Fedora 7 as "The Perfect Server," I had a few questions (http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_server_fedora7). 1. Does ISPConfig use iptables as its' firewall engine? I would like to have /etc/sysconfig/iptables like previous Fedora setups because it is what I am used to. 2. I am not sure the purpose of creating eth0:0 as a virtual interface. Is it something specifically for ISPConfig? I did not see where you used it. Thanks!
Yes. You don't have to create that virtual network interface. It's just an example how you do it if you need more than one IP address.
