Hi, I'm gonna install ISPconfig to see if it fits my use case. I'm a bit puzzled by the text in ispconfig.org/ispconfig/services-and-functions, where it says that Fedora is supported up to version 15. Does it mean that recent Fedora versions are not supported or is it a typo similar to where it says that Debian is supported up to version 8? ty
Fedora support has been stopped as it is not widely used for servers, so recent fedora versions are not supported and it might be that older versions don't work anymore as well as we did not test any recent ISPConfig version on fedora. Debian is supported until version 10, so there is a typo there. You can easily see on the documentation page which OS are supported, supported is were we published installation instructions for. If you want to have a redhat like OS, use CentOS 7.6. But generally Debian and Ubuntu are way easier to install and recommended for ISPConfig, so if you want to have a system that's easy to maintain and works flawlessly with ISPConfig, then use Debian or Ubuntu.
