    Hi all,
    I'm using fetchmail for my local vmail account.
    Retrieve all emails is off
    Delete emails after retrieval is off.

    It's working but the question is: getmail is downloading all email remote at once (10000+). What I'd like to do is to tell getmail to download (i.e.) 500 messages at time.

    I know I should have:
    max_messages_per_session = 500
    in the file
    mail_servername_com_username.conf created by ISPConfig in /etc/cgetmain

    I'd like to add this line permanently to the "template" (if a "template" exists) or in the script used by ISPConfig to create this file when a new fetchmail rule is added, but I cannot find it.

    Any help?

    Second question is about the the "oldfile" getmail should create to have an index of already downloaded file. I can't find it. Does anybody knows where is it?

    Thank you very much!!!

    Well, I think I found the answer to my first question (5 minutes after I asked it):cool:. The file should be:
    /usr/local/ispconfig/server/conf/getmail.conf.master

    Finally I have the answer also at my second question :)
    The "oldmail" file seems to be created at the end of each getmail session. So if getmail is set to download many many emails, user has to wait until the end to have it created.

    Hope this could help others... :)
