    On my fedora 10 server I have configured Fetchmail Retrieval using webmin and it seems to be working fine. Here if the output of the check servers from the webmin of the Fetchmail:

    Now my problem is how do I configure the fetchmail to deliver mail to clients desktops. I have two email users one with Windows XP mail client Microsoft outlook express and the other one with fedora 10 evaluotion. What are the necessary configuration should be done on the clients pc to receive or get the mails that has been download by fetchmail server.

    The clients have to log in to the POP3 account where fetchmails puts the mails in.

    I have install dovecot for pop3 and configured it, now when I try to test dovecot pop3
    #telnet localhost pop3
    Trying 127.0.0.1...
    telnet: connect to address 127.0.0.1: Connection refused

    here is my dovecot.conf
    #protocols = imap imaps pop3 pop3s
    protocols = pop3 pop3s imap imaps
    #pop3_uidl_format = %08Xu%08Xv
    #imap_client_workarounds = delay-newmail outlook-idle netscape-eoh
    #pop3_client_workarounds = outlook-no-nuls oe-ns-eoh
    #mail_location = maildir:~/Maildir

    why is pop3 refused to connect are my setting not right, no firewall or selinux set.

    I have edit on the dovecot.conf
    #listen = *, [::]
    listen = *, [::]

    and when I try to telnet the pop3 here is the output of it:
    [root@perfectpol ~]# telnet localhost pop3
    Trying 127.0.0.1...
    Connected to localhost.
    Escape character is '^]'.
    +OK Dovecot ready.
    Connection closed by foreign host.

    then the connection just die not sure what is killing it I have no firewalland selinux set(disabled)

    I wonder why the netstat output shows Dovecot two times...
    Are there any other errors in the logs? What's the output of
    Code:
    getenforce
    ?
