    Hi folks,

Is being a while since my last post, currently am seeing some open ports on my server but i was checking on Fedora's firewall and was disable, them I remember that ISPConfig has a built it firewall.

Am having some open ports and am unable to close it... I've added the port number and select NO but for some reason still coming open, besides that I've updated databases.

What is weird is am using nmap to scan IP address 200.89.230.204 and that port is not listed, attached is port list inside ISPconfig port scanner.

Another thing, how should I hide 3306 port without affecting DB performance ?

    Thanks in advance

The ISPConfig port scanner can not be used to test the firewall, as it is always inside the firewall. The portscanner shows all running services but it does not show if the port is open for external connections.

Please use a portscanner on your workstation if you want to test the firewall.

The port is closed if you did not explicitely opened it in the firewall.
