So in the perfect server guide for centos it has you stop the firewalld prior to install. It never tells you to turn it back on. Do you need to? I see the firewall settings in the gui, does ISPConfig have it's own firewall it installs?
No Yes, and that's why firewalld needs to be turned off as you can not have two firewall systems active at the same time.
Thank you... I searched every where for that could not find it. Now, the next problem. I removed a port from the listed open ports. Scanned the IP and it still shows open. Is there a service I need to restart to make this change take effect?
No. Did you use a second external server to do the port scan or an external client system? You can not scan from the same server that the firewall is on.
