I have a HP Compaq dx 2250 computer in my office. My 160GB hdd is partitioned 50/50. I have Ubuntu 8.04 (64) on one partition and Windows XP Pro on the other. If I use Flyback on Ubuntu to backup my hdd, will it include the partition with Windows XP Pro in the "snap-shot"?
I do have a Norton Ghost 14.0 cd, but there would be no point in installing the program on Windows if Flyback covers the problem.
Question; Does Flyback backup the complete hdd including both partitions, or must I install separate backup programs on each partition?
    Thanks,
    Gael.

I think you can pick the partitions in FlyBack that you want to back up. But if you want to go sure you should test this on a test system with Ubuntu and WinXP.

    Thanks Falko,
I thought about this method, but that would be quite an undertaking requiring another PC and much time to complete the task. I originally thought that someone out there in cyber space may have already crossed this problem previously and would have known the answer. Anyway, thanks again for taking the time to reply.

    Gael.
