I forgot installing bind on a new ISPConfig installation. Configured the whole server and ISPConfig settings before realizing this  I installed BIND now and it is showing up in the interface, and I don't see any error when creating a zone, but when I test the NS with a remote test tool i get an error saying the NS doesn't know the zone. Seems like BIND had to be configured when ISPConfig was installed and doesn't have a database connection now, or something like that. Is there a possibility to configure BIND without losing any data (settings etc) from ISPC?

Have you tried updating ISPConfig and recongure services during that process?

ISPConfig is up to date so it won't update. Also, what do I lose when I reconfigure services?

You need to force upgrade, so you can get that reconfigure services run. Use Internet Search Engines with
    Code:
    site:howtoforge.com force reconfigure services
or download the ISPConfig installation package and run ispconfig update from there.
You lose the existing not working configurations. You may lose your ISPConfig setup if you download ISPConfig package not matching the version you are currently running.

Thanks! I updated and made it only reconfigure DNS. Everything is working now!
