    Hi,

I have a user which is going ot office 365 hosted exchange.
The user want his mail to be cleaned by my ispconfig server and then forwarded to the microsoft server.

    Is this possible?
    If yes, how?

    Relaying to another server

So does that mean we can have all email come into a central ISPConfig server and then that server can reroute that mail to another backend ISPConfig server running the clients´ mailboxes?

Meaning, go to Email -> Email Routing -> Create New Transport

    Server: ispc3server1.domain.com <----mail comes into
    Domain: userdomain.com
    Type: SMTP
    No MX Lookup: unchecked
Destination: ispc3server2.domain.com <----other mailserver with ISPConfig
    Sort By: 5
    Active: Checked

    Is this possible??

    Thanks.

Yes, thats possible. this kind of configuration is often used by compabies that run exchange servers, they have a public ispconfig server to defend attacks that forwards the filtered email to a internal exchange server.

yes. and then add the userdomain.com under relay recipients, otherwise your server wont accept emails for that domain.
