I am trying to modify the munin plugin for cpu times to work on OS X, i found a modified cpu plugin for use with freeBSD, but it requires the kern.cpu_time call from sysctl, which is not in OSX.

My question is what other sysctl args are there that give similar out put or if anyone knows a good place for BSD Munin plugins. my knowledge of OSX inner workings is limited, i am better with RH/FED/CENT arch and ubuntu/debian arch.

Also if anyone has built/found an easy installer for OSX for munin, that would be helpful as well, since the current method i am aware of requires xcode, macports and munin, taking alot of time to setup and install.

the system i am working on is OS X 10.4.11 PowerPC Power Mac.
