So I just did a fresh install following the Perfect Fedora 8 Thingy. But when I try to connect I cannot. But if I try from the machine it connects fine. I'm thinking its a Cert type problem. How if I can can I change the admin panel access from HTTPs to HTTP?
Even if the cert does not match the hostname nor is from a valid CA, you will anyway be ablte to access the server. What FQDN do you use to access your CP and does it resolve to the ip of your CP machine?
Well thats kinda what I figured but I don't know what it could be. I'm using server1.+mydomain.com. which works to access my router and my current other server running on port 80(just linux apache mysql). From firefox on my lappy at school I am now getting an error. Alert Could not establish an encrypted connection because certificate presented by www.mysite.com is invalid or corrupted. Error Code:-8182
Corrected it VIA looking up error code and following instructions, how ever now I am prompted multiple times to accept the cert.... this normal or avoidable?
Please recreate the certificate as shown here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121 Please accept all default values.
