Dear Till & Falko, Until now, only the (mail)user which is administrator can upload websites via FTP. I think it would be nice if all (mail)users of the domain can upload a website to their own web. If they can do that, they are in depended of the administrator and after uploading their personal website, they can visit it at URL http://www.domain.tld/~username/ or http://www.domain.tld/users/username/ If this possible, then we can offer an extra service to clients and it is not necessary to register a domain name. A nice option for a simple personal site, link portal, or whatever for non professional and private use.
Hi Hans, normal mail users shall already be able to connect with FTP to their personal websites to upload data, or is this feature not working for you?
Dear Till, Yes indeed it never worked for me. Strange, i have noticed that with ISPConfig 2.2.5 it is working fine. I do not know why, but i am happy that it is functioning now, and with this, my wish is forfilled.
