I am trying to get admin FTP access to my ISPConfig box. I have a user set up with admin access but when logging in, can only see the user's directories - not all directories on the box.

I have searched the docs and the forum and can't find out what I'm doing wrong.

Running the latest ISPConfig release on Ubuntu LTS Server 6.06.

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

Did you enable "Administrator" for the user?

Login on ISPconfig > ISP Manager > The Domain > User & Email > Click on the user name, and set Administrator.

Yes, Administrator is checked for the user. Thanks.

If you chcked the administrator checkbox, you will get to the root of the website. Put the html files inside the "web" subdirectory.

I guess what I'm not seeing is with an ISP client that has multiple web sites, is there a way to log in via FTP and get to all those sites with one login? Thanks.

No, a FTP login is only for one site.
