Are you saying the scripts found using Internet Search Engines with
    Code:
    ftp backup script for ispconfig
are not sufficient? What is wrong with them? In what way do they need to be updated?

I don't backup stuff with FTP. I use automysqlbackup to get database dumps, and BackupPC to take backups to another host.
ISPConfig can make backups of the client data, copying to another host should be doable with a small amount of coding.

You can use the normal ISPConfig backup function and just mount the backup directory by using ftpfs.

Thank you. Thats an other question. I only see backup option in web domain section. Can not I backup client completely including database and mail accounts (excluding mail data) for later easy restore ? Am I missing something ? Sorry I am newbie with Ispconfig.
