ftp http log in no go / ip ok

    ftp access to sites on server - by domain name /user fail

    by ip address / user work

    what is wrong?

    The domain does not point to your server IP in DNS. For FTP it ios not relevant if you connect by IP or domain.

    today it works with domain from office - but not at home - most be some wierd local DNS loop cach

    Maybe your router doesn't support loopbacks.
