    Hi.
I have created a ftp account with ispconfig and, with the account, his directory was created.
    The directory is /var/www/clients/client1/web1.
In web1 there is the folder called "web". In this folder I have put some files and folders. With the files, there are no problem. With the folders... yes.
I'll explain: the files in the folders are not editable. When I edit or delete a file in a folder, I get an error: "Permission denied". Why?

The ftp server has been installed with isp-config and it is Pure-ftpd.

Post here user:group owner of the file. Pure-ftpd in my servers uses folder owner as default for new folders, it must be web1:client1.

This looks like web1:client1 are not the owners of created folders...

Did you create this folders from root in shell? or you create them using ftp client?

    Regards
