    Hello,

I have a few questions about ftp access on my Suse 10.1 perfect setup / ISPConfig 2.28 server. I have vsftp runing.

I noticed that anyone with an email account on a certain domain can connect via ftp and upload/alter/delete page data. Is that a bug or a feature? I'd like to limit access by non-administrator users if that is possible. How could I achieve this?

It would be great if one could limit a users' access to one certain folder. Is that possible?

    Thank you!
    regards, Tom

FTP users should be chrooted to their home directories, i.e. they cannot browse other directories.
Only the admin of a web site has access to the main document root and the home directories of other users of the same web site.
