Hi Guys, Is it possible to give someone FTP access and specify the folder where they will be started in. This would be a great Feature if possible....
The FTP start folder is always the home directory of the user. So if you create a user he will always login to his home directory. You can not specify this directory in ISPConfig because the home directory is also used for storing emails and procmail config files and the scripts assume the directory in a specific subfolder of the website.
I was wondering the same thing. So, let's say you want users to be able to upload files to a specific folder (i.e. /photos) but not have access to the full base directory of the site what would you do?
