I've migrated my server to another and made some messed up.

Currently I need to make another /etc/passwd and /etc/group...

Websites are working fine, but the main problem is that users with wrong stuff in /etc/passwd can not use FTP.

How can I generate another /etc/passwd with ispconfig users and groups correclty?

    Thank you!

How was the migration done? In what way are the files messed up?

I migrated mail files and clients table from dbispconfig. Also migrated /etc/passwd and group but I did not created websites in the same order that was using in those files so I think that messed all up.

If you can perform a new migration rather than trying to fix the current one, you might check out the migration toolkit, which will handle all the details. (Your purchase supports the ISPConfig developers.)

The most complicated thing about new migration is downtime and worry about changing mail server ip and such.

It would be great use migration toolkit and help ISPConfig developers, but I don't have the money and don't know how this script would behave in the middle of messy permissions.

PS: I live in Brazil and migration for me costs 248,46 BRL
    1 EURO = 4,21 BRL

If you search the forum, then you'll find instructions on how to migrate an ispconfig install manually as well. The migration tool just makes it easier. When you migrate a server manually, then you'll copy over the whole ispconfig db and also the web users and client groups from passwd, shadow, group and gshadow file to ensure that permissions match between new and old server.
