Ftp permissions dont let delete files.

Hello i cant delete the files under the client ftp account, and i checked the file permissions usinf (ls -l) and files are owned by.

And the client ftp are under :

UID : web25
GUI : client3
/var/www/clients/client3/web25

Is frontpage extensions that im not using.
Cant this be treated as normal folders ?

Permissions look ok. Can you delete files that you uploaded, or does this not work either?

 

Yes, the problem is that i cant delete the folders only, with root account is possible of course.

Not a real problem, just for notice.

Maybe if you guys add a activate/deactivate frontpage extensions this get ok.

 

I think you can delete folders only if they are empty. So you need to delete any files/directories first in that folder before you can delete the folder.

 

You think well, but ftp clients allready have that problem fixed.
