i have a few questions. First: i have noticed that under reseller and client there are no options to set Filequota, Uploadratio, Downloadratio, Uploadbandwidth, and Downloadbandwidth this can only be set under the root account. is there a way that this info can be displayed and changed under the resellers account. Second: from the reseller client area. 1) Is there a way to limit the download speed per fpt user. 2) Is there a way to see who is logged into the ftp Third: i have checked the site and can not find a way to set user permissions. what i am needing to do. 1) set some users so they can only download information 2) set other users to download and upload files also can i set different permissions for for different directories for the same user. example directory upload/ user1 can download or upload files directory general/ user1 can only upload files thanks Kwick
I guess you are talking about ispconfig? I moved your thread to the ispconfig forums now. Regarding your question: The settings are not available on reseller level. So you would have to extend ispconfig for that yourself or make a feature request in the bugtracker.
Reagrding your third question, as far as I know, these permissions can only be configured on user level and not directory level in pure-ftpd. But ypou might want to take a look into the pure-ftpd documentation for details: http://www.pureftpd.org/project/pure-ftpd/doc
