I'm not sure what I configured wrong, but when I upload files via ftp, they don't go to the correct location.

    For Example:

The location that is being served is /var/www/web5/web/index.html

However when I log in to ftp, the current directory is "/var/www/web5/user/web5_tyson" which contains another "web" directory, and a different index.html file that does nothing when I change it.

Running edgy server, proftpd, perfect setup.

Make sure that the ftp user is set as an administrator in ISPConfig

    Thanks very much!

I guess I was a bit confused about what being an administrator meant. I didn't think I wanted the person creating their webpage to have any sort of administrative access over the

(Actually I'm still a bit confused about why there's even a choice, if you have to be "administrator" to be able to ftp things to a place that works.)

No matter though, that fixes my problem, I appreciate the quick help.

    Thats a client.

Because the other place works at well, it is the users personal website. The feature is described in the manual.
