Hello, I'm a Linux newbie, I Just managed to install cherokee server with PHP and MYSQL & I'm able to run things pretty well. I'm unable to install themes and other things due to FTP not being present. Is there anyway I can install FTP on the server & take advantage of my WP functions? Thank you for your time.
Install an FTP server, e.g. ProFTPd, vsftpd, or PureFTPd, and then create a system user that has your Cherokee document root as the home directory. You can then use that system user in your FTP client to upload your files.
Hello, Thanks for your reply. I was wondering if there's some HOW-TO . Which can explain how to install. I've googled it and found many but I'm really not sure which of them should be followed.
