Full Backup Ispconfig

    Hello, i just changed my ip and i will change my server as well but i need do do an full back up of all ispconfig containings ( websites dns emails etc..)
    How can i do this?

    The normal way to do this is with the Linux tar command for the directories and the mysqldump command to make a backup of the MySQl databases. You have to backup at least the following directories:

    /etc
    /usr/local/ispconfig
    /var/www
    /var/vmail
    /var/log/ispconfig

    And the MySQL databases.

    Ok thanks !
    May I ask something else?
    How do i asign an static ip if my ruter have dhcp and the public IP is changing every time?

    A static IP has to be assigned by your Internate access provider and then it has to be configured in your router, so if your provider assigns you only a dynamic IP, then you don't have a static IP. In this case, I would recommend to rent a cheap vps somewhere and youn your server in a datacenter where it gets a static IP address.
