    Hello

I have Server with ISPConfig 2.2.8 and postfix running.
Problem is that the server sends thousands of messages to my webmaster email address to tell me about the mailsize.

    How can this be stopped?

    Email:
    Thanks!

Do you redirect/forward mails for admispconfig to another user? You shouldn't do this! The mailsize mails are for the user admispconfig so that ISPConfig can calculate correct mail traffic statistics.

Same Problem, but at multible emails

    Hi.

I have a similar problem, exept every admin-acount get flooded.

I run multiple domaines on my server.
Followed 'Perfect setup for Fedora core 6' to the last dot.
Installed ISPConfig before I did anything else.

Have read the posts I could find that just remotly touched this issue, but no help.
Have changed mydomain in main.cf to an empty domain that points to my IP, but isn't setup in ISPConfig.

Checked all conf-files against Docs and postings here, but nothing helps.

I have NOT forwarded any mails to anything at all.

Please help since it's slowing down a live server.

Please post a excerpt of your mail log. Did you add any aliases in /etc/postfix/aliases?

    Hi Till

    Partly solved

I edited all .procmailrc files and commented out the include mail.rc statement, so now I don't recieve all the mailsize-mails.

    Still have an overloaded maillog.
Is there anyway to configure what to Log and what NOT to Log ?

    Please run
    Code:
    postmap /etc/postfix/virtusertable
    and restart Postfix.

Are there lots of mails in your mailqueue? You can find out by running
    Code:
    postqueue -p

  9. Falsig

    Falsig New Member

    Did that.

There was around 70.000 early this morning.
I used Outlook with a message-rule to empty the queue after commenting out the
    Code:
    include .......... mail.rc
    line in every procmailrc.

Took me some time because of the amount of users.

Maillog is now downsized to ~35 MB

  10. falko

    falko Super Moderator ISPConfig Developer

To empty the mail queue, you can simply run
    Code:
    postsuper -d ALL

  11. Falsig

    Falsig New Member

Couldn't just empty the mail-queue hence it's a live server, and some of the custommers mails could be vital.

This should be in the Feature Request forum : Wouldn't it be an Idea to be able to decide what to log and what NOT to log?

Postfix decides what gets in the mail logfile, not ISPConfig.

You must be logged in as root user to use the commands. If you login as other user with SSH, run the command:

    su

    to become root user.
