I have followed a couple of the tutorials on the site and have had some success. These tutorials have helped tremendously.

Still having a few problems though, I know what I want but not really sure on how to implement the plan. I have two Fedora 9 x86_64 machines one with a 160GB hdd, and another with an 80. I get lost when it comes to the partitioning scheme of my linux systems so I leave them set to default and am not really sure if this is a good thing for what I want. I want to set them both up in our office to be our mail, web, domain name, file, ldap and samba servers.

I got one configured with the ISPConfig tutorial and it works great, I also have Samba with SWAT on it and was able to \\ into it once from a windows machine and haven't been successful since.

I have done alot of reading on both SAMBA site and other linux sites and have come across some great information.

How can I configure these two systems
    A. both of them Evenly so that no ONE system is over loaded
    B. so that they will work with the existing windows machine that are in the office (3 Windows XP HOME, and 2 XP Pro)

I was reading about LDAP and I came across a tutorial here that was somewhat helpful for Fedora but I am not sure that I followed it right.

How can I get the users in my network to authenticate to these two servers (or one) and is there a tutorial that explains this, if LDAP is what I need where can I find a easy to follow tutorial.

I would be greatful for any help....

If you need a fileserver, I think you should just use one system with a big HDD instead of storing your files on two systems.

First let me say thank you Falko, your tutorials and a few others here on H.T.F they have been a tremendous help.

I have somewhat of an idea on the setup I would like to use. I just need a little help getting there, and the administrative advice to keep it all in order.

With two systems how can I evenly set them both up so that my small office has Mail, Web, Directory Service, OTRS, Samba, FTP.

There are two sides of the business shipping and computer repair. As it stands everything is chaotic.

How can I get some order...

You can set this all up on just one system. If you use two systems, chances are that you won't know on which system you've stored a certain file, email, etc.
