getting wierd mail from my server

  1. I've gotten a wierd email from my server

    Successful Mail Delivery Report

    This is the mail system at host mail.mydomain.si.

    Your message was successfully delivered to the destination(s) listed below. If the message was delivered to mailbox you will receive no further notifications. Otherwise you may still receive notifications of mail delivery errors from other systems.

    ....

    Why did I get this message? What is this message? Can I disable it?

    at first sight it looks like you have sent an e-mail with receipt-notificication turned on. It's a flag you can either turn on or off when you sent out an e-mail. By default on most mail clients this is turned off. How to turn the flag on or off totally depends on and differs per mail client.

  3. yeah... google said the same. :) send the awnser to the client that got the email, but still no reply from him. That's why I can't confirm if that was the problem.
