Hi, does anybody know about a tool whichs add & updates all costumer domains / subdomains & sites on google / yahoo or any search machine? would be cool ;-) thx
I think it's better to do it manually. Search engines don't like these automatic submission tools at all, and most of these tools need updates to work...
hmm I think you're right, but anyway ... think if you have 50 costumers ... that means a lot of manual work ;-/ don't you have a clue or a name of such a tool which is able to do that? or any other solution .. I red some things about robots, spiders, google bots etc. ... Thx for helping ;-) Leander
This should really be done manually. Most of these submission tools are crap, and search engines don't like them.
hmm I guess you're all right - but wouldn't it sound good to tell costumers " if you come to us your website would be automatically added on google? and it is manual work which a tool also could do?! Why do search engines not like such tools? Thx for your advice Leander
I think instead of auto-submitting it would be better to make a howto on where you say where people can submit to what search engines and how they can "optimize" their site for the SEO -> just giving the most essential things that need to be looked at... I guess that's a better approach... From from the point of marketing I see that the statement "We will automatic submit your website to all major search engines" is a catcher... But how about "other ISPs submit your site automatically to the major search engines - We DON'T do this as this is not good..." The list reasons of why auto-submissions are bad and finally (maybe for customers only) the howto on how to do it better...
hmm yes - you're definitely right. ^^ You got it ;-) but your also right again - because I aggre that it would definitely not good if all webhoster would do that ;-) thx for the clue with the howto - I guess this would realy be the best to do. Thx !! Leander ;-)
It invovles customers more to do... but if they want rankings in google then they need to tune their sites for google, get backlinks and preferrably get listed at dmoz.org
Hi, I've never heard of dmoz.org I firstly had to read http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dmoz ;-) But I still don't know why I should use that instead of google? On this point I have to say that I never did any entry in any search machine! So I'm a virgin ;-) Can you approve any good howto fo adding a website to google and considering backlinks and stuff like that ... ? Thx a lot Leander ;-)
I dont know if it's still the case but Google used for its monthly spidering as starting point the dmoz directory... so this meant that being listed at dmoz will also get you into google... but that's been 2-3 years back... I don't know what has changed meanwhile.
