Greylisting

Discussion in 'Installation/Configuration' started by Ignacio Garcia, Oct 13, 2018.

  1. Hi there... I've installed postgrey after ispconfig 3.1. From this post https://git.ispconfig.org/ispconfig/ispconfig3/issues/4410 it seems the only necessary step to do to enable it is adding check_recipient_access mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql-virtual_policy_greylist.cf to smtpd_recipient_restrictions. However, in my preinstalled by OVH system there are 2 lines I have in my main.cf:

    smtpd_restriction_classes = greylisting
    greylisting = check_policy_service inet:127.0.0.1:10023

    Should those 2 lines be kept in main.cf or should I delete them after insertion of the above statement in smtp_recipient_restrictions?

    TIA so much

    Ignacio

    Running ispconfig with reconfigure services should work. I'm at tablet computer so can not check file names. Get the ispconfig installer, it's one of the scripts. Search old discusdions for more info.
