I'm not quite sure where to ask this question so Smalltalk sounds like a good place. My company is having issues with calendar invites, people just can't get the point to add EVERYONE to the list and they don't like distribution lists for some strange reason. So I'm trying to find an app out there that will provide a centralized calendar. If a new event was added to the central calendar it would automatically send the event to all remaining users. My server is FC9 running a slightly altered version of the FC9 perfect server howto. Thank you for your time with this, Jshel
I'm not quite following what you mean. Are you looking for an application where there is only one calendar for everyone or whether each one has his/her own calendar plus a centralized calendar or or or... also how big is that company? I've been working with horde lately and it enables the "sharing" of calendars quite easily but I don't know if that's what you need.
Hummm scenario, user Steve creates an event on his laptop and invites [email protected] (the server) then the calendar or database on the server auto accepts this event and then emails all other users the same event. I have talk with my bosses about on central web calendar and they were not big on that idea "they are nothing more than sheep and refuse to use anything other than MS outlook." Company size is medium. 8 offices spread out over north and South America, and about 300 employees. Jshel
