Harddisk quota and mailbox quota - are they related?

    Hi everyone, just a quick question...

    For instance if a create an account and allocate 5 GB of space to it (Harddisk), what does that mean for all the mailboxes under that account, are they independent, do I have to set quota there too or is the mailbox using that 5 GB of space the I allocated to the domain/website?
