Hello, I'am trying to install a mailserver using this tutorial >> http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual_postfix_mysql_quota_courier_p2 ("Virtual Users And Domains With Postfix, Courier And MySQL (+ SMTP-AUTH, Quota, SpamAssassin, ClamAV)"), which is a great work and easy to follow. I have done it step by step and followed up de suggestions, but i still have a problem. I can't get my mail using a email client (Outlook). I get the following message: - Your User Name and Password was rejected. Server response: '-ERR Maildir Invalid (no 'cur' directory). I have tried to change the pssword to '', still won't work. I don't know where the error with the MAILDIR is comming from... I would appreciate some help
Did you sent a email to this account before you tried to fetch the mail? The cur directory is created by postfix automatically when the first email arrives.
thx ... i've solved it .... it was to stupid to postit ... thx anyway PS: I have sent a message but still wasn't working .... Now it's fine
