after installation i get server.mydomain.com took too long to respond I have tried with different VM and installation methods, cant seem to get past this. configured the hostname, also pointed my domain to my vps. This is personal to me and i want to install ispconfig, followed the instructions on perfect, debian buster but always after installing my page shows the above error. thanks in advance.
It would be helpful if you can cut and paste the complete exact error message text. That error looks like name service does not point to the server you set up. Or the website is not working at all. really need help, made and tested on different VM and have used different auto install scripts, i just want to use ISPconfig. Can't figure out what i am doing wrong. I also think its from the server configuration. so how to make sure your domain custom domain point and work on before installing ispconfig, tired but dont want to give up until it works
The DNS tutorial explains how to test this. What are the results of your tests? If you already have ISPConfig installed and the hosts file edited with IP and hostname, test if you can go to your website writing the URL in browser address bar. What happens?
