Hello to everybody! I need help to configure a Mandriva LAMP server with desktop interface, i have fallow the tutorial from this site and everything it's ok, i have only one problem! I CAN'T SEND EMAIL'S! I have a ADSL internet connection and a dynamic IP address, how i must to configure this mandriva desktop server ? Let me be more specific! I am a beginner in linux, and i have make a website in php and i want to test'it from my local mandriva desktop server, i don't want to upload'it all the time to the hosting server to test'it! What is the problem ? In the contact menu i have a form that you must to fill'it and when you press the send button will send all that info in my email! How i must to configure the server, to send email's ? I repeat: i have adsl connection and dynamic ip address! Help me plz! Thanks!
You can not send emails at all or just to the outside? If the problem is just to the outside, then a search on this site for 'dynamic dns' or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_DNS might be of help.
