help!!!!!!! major problem with receving mail

    hi all

    i got this major problem with receving mail i have setup the ips and the mx records etc and when i send mail from hotmail or googlemail so far its says its failed.

    my dns configuration

    external_ip = example.com

    www = example.com
    ftp = example.com
    mail = example.com

    mail.example.com = example.com

    and i have got the user and password email right but keep on saying failed and on googlemail it say relay access denied

    thanks for any sugguestion

    yeh there was but i have reinstalled everything again :)
