Can anyone tell me if BT broadband packages can be installed with pclinuxos as i am a complete newbie to linux & not sure about installing this from CD. Have asked BT but they dont seem to be very sure about whether it will or not many thanks
I currently have the BT option 2 broadband package which is installed on windows XP, on a drive in my computer, I have installed linux on another drive in the same computer & wish to transfer my BT account to the linux drive as the bt interface is one I am very comfortable with & has one of the best family protection packages as part of it + I am paying £25/month for the service. there is not a link for this as far as I know as all the software is on a Cd installable under windows & Mac only, there is no support for linux OS hope this is of some help
So you're using software on your computer to access the Internet instead of a router? I guess it's not possible to use that software on Linux if there's no Linux version on the CD. Maybe it's possible through WINE, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is not the case...
