    Hi all,

We currently have a project to install 4 high perfoamnce HP Proliant DL360 Quad core, 4GB RAM for an ISP (DNS server). ISP currently has 575000 users. We expect around 250000 concurrent users. I was wandering where can I get some info on how to deploy using this scenario. I am debating between Bind and DJBDNS. Not sure about the OS though, but definitely not Windows.

    Thank you

thats is a good qus how hard and far can you push the BIND DNS server before it fails

BIND should handle the work load without a problem
as far as i know most of the top level DNS servers run BIND as there DNS

    http://tldp.org/HOWTO/DNS-HOWTO-3.html < BIND in caching mode >

hope thats helps a little ..
sorry that i can help out any more than that
