Hello! How I can find home directory for each domain in my server. For example: http://123.123.123.123/domain.com What is the right link? Thank you!
Check this post: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4313 You should not use the domain name for this. But ~username.
Hmmm. Sorry but I still have this problem. No one of your helps does not work. For example, I have created new client and after that create 3 sites for this client. But domain of this sites is not active in main DNS. How I can to check if this sites ar work on my server propertly (it is 2 web-shop and one analitic web). Or how user can see web from my server (for example srv.server.com) Thank you!
For every website you have to make a user with administrator rights. For that admin there will be created a folder web where you can put your files in. It's best to follow the administrator manual that you can download from: http://www.ispconfig.com/documentation.htm If you follow that and your website is created you can reach it with http://ip/~usernameadministrator
I have this 404 Error - File not found! This link dont work. I try enter username, admin username, domain ... But it dont work. Please help! Thnak you!
Thanks folder is automatically generated during install. You can make the folder and put an index in it to see if it works then. That folder is not used for your websites. So no problem with that. What do you see now when you go to the ip of your server? Apache page, or shared page?
When I use IP then "The webpage cannot be found", but if i use server name then 404 Error - File not found! with ISPConfig blue line. Thank you!
You cannot use IP addresses because ISPConfig configures name-based vhosts, not IP-based vhosts. You must use the domain name instead.
I use domain names, but problem still exists. Domain which I want to test is not registred in DNS, but I have registed client on my server with this domain. How can I test this new user web page? On another server with another ISP program I have this link: http://serverdomain.com/domain.com Thank You!
