Hi all, I noticed that a few days ago hotmail blocks email from my server. I looked at the error mail I got back, and if i am correcdt it has something to do with sender id and or spf records. found this through the error mail: This is the error mesaaage I got back: So I am geussing I need to edit the: DNS SPF record setting on my ISPConfig , but to be honest I dont know how to or what to fill in there.. Could anyone give me a helping hand please? Appie
The domain musicfromhell.nl is your domain, right? The SPF of that domain is "v=spf1 mx a ~all" which should be ok when your IP is 185.10.48.237
I think, your problem is "Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list (S3140)".
We were getting this for one server, you need to get Microsoft to mitigate the issue by filling out the form at this url :- https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...-us&forceorigin=esmc&ccsid=636642930708442746 They will then investigate and mitigate if your domain is valid. A pain but it happens.
Forgot to say we also for the affected domain set a specific SPF for the valid IP addresses v=spf1 mx a include:ns1.domain.name include:ns2.domain.name ip4:A.B.C.D ip4:A.B.C.D -all
