My emails always arrives as spam in every hotmail/live mails... I am using postfix, is there something I can do to avoid this? of course, my mails are not spam...
A static IP is a must for Hotmail. Also make sure you have a valid SPF record, and that (in case of Hotmail) your domain(s) are added to the Hotmails SenderID program. To get your domain(s) added to the SenderID program, you will need to contact Hotmail. More Hotmail info: http://www.microsoft.com/mscorp/safety/technologies/senderid/default.mspx
Thank you edge for your answer, maybe you can help me with my problem... I have static IP, I had registered to SenderID program, I have registered to Junk Mail program too, and I have a SPF record (working correctly, "pass" status in every mail). I have no problem with GMAIL and Yahoo, only with Hotmail/Live. This is driven me crazy! This is a header of a mail received by hotmail: Code: Authentication-Results: hotmail.com; sender-id=pass (sender IP is 190.183.xyz.abc) [email protected]; dkim=neutral header.d=tecatest.com.ar; x-hmca=pass X-Message-Status: n:0:n X-SID-PRA: Firstname Lastname <[email protected]> X-SID-Result: Pass X-AUTH-Result: PASS X-Message-Delivery: Vj0xLjE7dXM9MDtsPTA7YT0wO0Q9MjtTQ0w9Ng== X-Message-Info: KCGDZPw8e2q43aOzVYjT2BuJxcURWbczc9UbaJTbiiUvELdevxLHtnoYfx28LoM5XaJyBe3PvfqZ2BHWyO5tIgmBjof09Q926PeDTOKWy4K71RLo0cw/HsI6h+E+jYibt55InCt+duw= Received: from mx1.tecatest.com.ar ([190.183.xyz.abc]) by SNT0-MC1-F18.Snt0.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.4675); Sun, 7 Aug 2011 06:33:59 -0700 Received: from localhost (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]) by mx1.tecatest.com.ar (Postfix) with ESMTP id 8A3D330A13CD for <[email protected]>; Sun, 7 Aug 2011 10:33:58 -0300 (ART) X-Virus-Scanned: Debian amavisd-new at mx1.tecatest.com.ar Received: from mx1.tecatest.com.ar ([127.0.0.1]) by localhost (mx1.tecatest.com.ar [127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with ESMTP id nEZO4T6Izbwy for <[email protected]>; Sun, 7 Aug 2011 10:33:58 -0300 (ART) Received: from [127.0.0.1] (unknown [190.172.82.157]) (Authenticated sender: [email protected]) by mx1.tecatest.com.ar (Postfix) with ESMTPSA id 0C50F30A0CF9 for <[email protected]>; Sun, 7 Aug 2011 10:33:57 -0300 (ART) Message-ID: <[email protected]> Date: Sun, 07 Aug 2011 10:34:02 -0300 From: Firstname Lastname <[email protected]> User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:5.0) Gecko/20110624 Thunderbird/5.0 MIME-Version: 1.0 To: [email protected] Subject: Queridooooooooooo Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Return-Path: [email protected] X-OriginalArrivalTime: 07 Aug 2011 13:33:59.0501 (UTC) FILETIME=[A9DEAFD0:01CC5506] IP has reverse records too, I don't know what to do with this... Thanks for any future help...
Looks like your IP (190.172.82.157) is in some anti-spam databases. This could cause your problem. http://www.mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx
That is not my server IP. Correct IP of my server is 190.183.254.110, and is not mark as spam in mxtoolbox The IP you posted is my ADS IP at home, mails are being originated by thunderbird at my home, and sent by my server at IP above.
I've compared your headers with one from me, and they do not show big differences. Did you ask the "SenderID program" team what could cause your emails beeing marked as spam?
I registered to SenderID (as I can see in headers, senderID check is ok). Do you know where can I ask them about this? is the form provided for them the only way to ask? Someone here is having the same problem? this is driven me crazy, I have this problems for the last 3 months... Thanks in advance,
I did it, they said that my domain has been added to their systems... but my mails keep going to junk mail =(
