I'm curious to know how other people are using ISPConfig. The sorts of things I'd like to know are: - how many websites are you hosting? - are the websites not-for-profit i.e just friends/family or are they commercial i.e customers? - do you own the server hardware that ISPconfig is running on or is it your employer's, customer's or leased from an ISP etc? - is the server dedicated to hosting or are you running other things on it aswell? - is anyone running multiple ISPConfig environments in a VPS (virtual private server e.g Xen) setup? Thanks. Ian.
Im hosting something like 200 websites, most commercial, some noncommercial.. I own the servers... they are dedicated to hosting. at least the ones using ispconfig. About multiples enviroments.. no, im not... My overall score is (1-10): Linux for hosting: 6 ISPConfig for private hosting: 9 ISPConfig for commercial hosting: 6
Falko, Do you offer VPS? I trust you guys enough to purchase a blank VPS from you if they are competitively priced. I can also recommend many clients to your company.
96 websites and 50 client accounts 40 non-profit , 18 commercial and 38 private Rented from an ISP hosting only I replaced confixx by ispconfig ca. 15 months ago and I never regretted it.
Right now, we're using it for a big customer on his soon-to-be production web server. We're looking to move our CP from Ensim to ISPConfig.
> 100 sites. mostly commercial. leased from a datacenter. dedicated hosting server(s). I setup a new server a few months ago with OpenVZ + ISPConfig, its working fine.
