i have added a client, named mike, but he cannot login via ftp. used: The Perfect Server - Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Apache2, BIND, Dovecot, ISPConfig 3) I looked in mysql under ftp users, and there are 0 records listed. What needs to be done to have users added to FTP? i didnt see anything really in the interface that had anything to do with FTP. Thanks!
That's the problem as PureFTPd reads user information directly from the database. Please check your database connection, MySQL logs, etc.
