I've downloaded Linux and want to create a boot up cd to breath life into an old PC - but I can;t copy the files to cd after downloading them (downloaded into a laptop running XP)

How are you supposed to create a boot up cd without a machine already running Linux??

    Please help!

    bluebird,

This is very easy to do. Just download and install imgburn on your windows machine.

Then you will need the ISO image of the linux distro. Just open up imgburn, choose the image and click burn.
